The Construction of Freedom does not end with escape. What shaped us cannot simply be removed without also removing parts of ourselves. Some structures become limitations. Others become foundations. The question is not whether we can become untouched by our past, but whether we can recognise what acts within us and decide what still deserves to remain.

Painting is a process. Not a process of the brush, but of thought. Of its consequences — like taking one step after another. It is about honesty of expression. About how we see the world and how we see ourselves. Sometimes it is a reflection, sometimes an attempt to understand, and sometimes simply the creation of a space in which that reflection can emerge.

My project “The Construction of Freedom” is a reflection on the human being — on personality, on who we are and why we are the way we are. I do not offer a diagnosis. I invite you to look at yourself differently — without drama or grand words. Simply to answer a few questions. To understand: why? And to decide whether there is something we want to change, and if so — what.

Freedom is the right to self-determination. The most important right each of us possesses.
