Exhibition of drawing and painting students – Sztukarnia, Warsaw | Barbara Puto
On June 14, 2026, an exhibition of works by drawing and painting students took place at the Art Studio on Odolańska Street 60 in Warsaw. My participation in this exhibition was linked to an important stage in my artistic development. Entering the oil painting technique made me realize how many new topics I would like to explore – from building light and value to working with texture and form. It was oil painting that became the impetus for taking the course and viewing my own creativity from a new perspective. The exhibition was not only a presentation of works but also a meeting of people united by the passion for creation, mutual inspiration, and a reminder that an artist learns throughout their life.

The opening was a summary of several months of work and creative exploration. For me, it became an important stage of development – entering the oil technique prompted me to take the course to deepen my knowledge of light, value, texture, and form building.
Why was this course important to me?
Although I am already exhibiting my works and participating in art competitions, I believe that an artist never stops learning. Oil painting has opened up new questions and possibilities for me. Participating in the course was a conscious decision to further improve my craft and to view my own creations from a different perspective.
This event reminded me that artistic development arises from curiosity, openness, and the willingness to continually question my own painting.

More important than the hanging was the plan. The pictures were arranged - almost ready.
