Image as Presence – Why My Art Is Not for Quick Decisions?

 

This page is not for quick decisions. It is meant for you topause at the image, return to it in your thoughts and check if it wants to stay with you.

If you are reading this text, it means that some image has already moved you. This is a good moment to give that feeling space.

Reservation of the image

I can reserve the selected image for youfor 5 days.This is the time when many people make sure that the decision is calm and right.

Reservation: – does not oblige to purchase – gives space for reflection – secures the work from being bought by someone else

If you feel that it’s "that image, but just a moment" – reservation is a good step.

 

Purchase of the image

You can make the purchase directly through the website. The process is simple and secure.

However, if you preferto talk first– that is also natural. An image is not a technical decision, but a personal one.

Many works find new homes after a second or third return to them.

Framing

I sell images without frames because the way of displaying them should be adapted to the space where they will live.

Watercolors

I recommend a wooden frame with a passe-partout (minimum 5 cm) and anti-reflective glass with at least 70% UV filter. Such framing allows the work to breathe, protects the paper from light exposure, and emphasizes the subtlety of the technique while reducing reflections that hinder the perception of the image.

My watercolors are created on high-quality cotton papers using professional artist paints with high lightfastness. Proper framing preserves their aesthetic qualities for many years.

Acrylics

Usually, simple frames or display without a passe-partout work best, enhancing the presence of the image and the character of the painting surface. The type of framing should be matched to the style of the interior and the character of the work.

Oils

I recommend wooden floating frames or classic frames that highlight the character of the work. Oil paintings can also be displayed without a frame or in a frame with a passe-partout if it fits the style of the interior.

Well-chosen framing makes the image stop being new – it starts to feel like your own.

 

Shipping

Each image is shippedflat, without rolling, carefully secured, so that it arrives in perfect condition.

Certificate and authenticity

Each image comes with acertificate of authenticity.This confirms the originality of the work and its place in my creations.

If you feel that it’s an image "for later" – that’s okay. The best collecting decisions do not arise under pressure.

Sometimes it’s enough to step away, and then check if the image still returns..

It’s a good decision when calm appears, not haste.

Museum Quality and Certificate of Authenticity

 

All images presented in the offer are my original works, created by hand using professional artistic materials. I work in watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting techniques, selecting the medium according to the character of the image and the intended effect.

Watercolors

I paint with professional watercolor paints from renowned manufacturers, primarily Schmincke Horadam. These paints are made from high-quality pigments combined with natural gum arabic and are characterized by very high lightfastness.

Thanks to the use of artist-grade materials and proper framing, the images retain their colors for many decades.

Paper

For watercolors, I use professional archival papers with a weight of no less than 300 g/m². Most often, these are cotton papers from renowned manufacturers such as Arches or Fabriano.

These papers are produced without the use of optical brighteners and acids, which makes them stable, resistant to aging, and preserves their properties for many years. Cotton paper is considered the most durable substrate for watercolors and, with proper storage, can last for hundreds of years.

Acrylic paintings

In acrylic painting, I use professional artist paints with high durability and lightfastness. The acrylic technique allows for both subtle tonal transitions and bold, dynamic compositions.

Oil paintings

My oil paintings for sale are created on high-quality Polish linen canvases. The canvases are stretched over solid pine stretchers with a cross-section of 22 × 45 mm. The substrate is traditionally glued with gelatin and then hand-primed three times, ensuring the painting's durability and stability for many years - this is a substrate for museum-quality artwork.

I work with professional oil paints from renowned manufacturers, including Michael Harding, Schmincke Mussini, Schmincke Norma Professional, Holbein, and Rembrandt. These paints contain high-quality pigments and allow for depth of color, subtle tonal transitions, and durability valued by collectors.

Finishing the paintings

Each painting is properly secured and finished using high-quality materials designed to protect works of art.

For acrylic paintings, I use protective varnishes that safeguard the painted surface, enhance the color depth, and increase the painting's durability.

Oil paintings, once the drying process is complete, are secured with a professional final varnish that protects the paint layer and emphasizes the depth and richness of the colors.

Thanks to appropriate finishing, paintings retain their aesthetic values for many years.

How you feel in your home matters. This atmosphere is created not only by furniture or wall colors but primarily bythe emotions carried by the paintings, which surround you.

Those you already have appeared at a different moment in your life. They accompanied different emotions, different needs. Over time, they may begin to speak to you differently — or simply fall silent.

My paintings are not decorations. They are an invitation to pause, to reflect, to be peacefully present in the moment. This is the charge they carry —warmth, mindfulness, and space for your own thoughts.

That’s why one question is important: does the painting you paused atresonate with you today?

Look at it again. Think aboutwhat space would suit it well — and you along with it.

The painting stays with the recipient for a long time. It does not wear out, does not fade, does not lose significance over time. It contains the emotion and intention of the moment it was chosen.
