Extraordinary painting story from my journey through Provence. We stayed with our friends in a cozy little house in the village of Saint - Victor - la - Coste. This was our base for exploring the surrounding picturesque towns, vineyards, and places marked by history. I painted while in Provence, drawing from the fresh excitement of the nature and places I visited. Now I understand the admiration of other painters for the local light. I will miss it ...

A beautiful landscape of a charming Provençal valley illuminated by the rays of the warm sun

The majestic plane tree - a symbol of diversity, strength, and the shade of care that we sometimes need.
Provence is not just a place – it is a state of mind. A land where light does not tell stories, but ratherwrites.. Time flows more slowly, shadows are longer, and colors are as saturated as emotions. This series of watercolors was created in response to what cannot be captured in words – the glow of morning over a lavender field, the trembling silence of an old aqueduct, a solitary tree guiding the gaze towards the light that never fades.
This ismy personal journey through Provence, but not through maps and addresses, rather through feelings, brush strokes, and pulsating colors. Each piece carries its own story, yet together they create a cohesive landscape – of light, memory, and contemplation.
